Doo-Daa
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
COMING IN EARLY MAY! DEMO BUILD IS FOR PLAY TESTING PORPOISES:๐ฌ
Play as astronaut cat Ulysses and deliver informational pamphlets marketing Earth to the residents of an alien planet inspired by the 1920s Dada movement. Almost every asset in the game was made using traditional collage from books and magazines trash picked off of the streets of Brooklyn.
Doo-Daa is my solo-developed Senior Thesis for my BFA in Game Arts at Pratt Institute, which will be published as a full game in May 2026, with a (free) full art book detailing the extensive research into the Dada movement. Made in RPG Maker MZ 2003, work is ongoing.
Several artworks referenced in this game contain artistic nudity or explicit language.
CONTROLS:
Controls and sound can be viewed and changed in the 'Mission Options' menu.
Default controls are: 'Z' (Confirm/Interact), 'X' or 'escape' (Menu/Cancel), 'shift' (run) and arrow keys to move. Animations/Cutscenes cannot be skipped, but can be paused with the pause button on your keyboard.
I recommend checking the sound settings and turning sound effects (SE) down!
Music by Benny Brewer and Miles Pride.
